We got to Venice very late and decided to checkout this Panini place. Unfortunately at 8:00 PM they were all out of cicchetti which we were looking forward to trying with the sandwich. I saw many other places still had them, but it is more of a early day food. With that said, we ended up getting a panini and it tasted really good, I asked for it to be toasted and the server ended up having a conversation with locals while the food was cooking, so as you can see, it got burnt. Overall, it tasted good, but the service left a lot to be desired.

What else could you want but a very light and crispy panino with good ingredients in between. A delicious stop while walking around Venice. Service was really good and they were really nice. Tried the panini castello and san marco!

09/10/2025: A lovely place, a little off the main tourist track. Very friendly service we were greeted with kindness and patience and a genuine desire that we enjoy our food and coffee. Very nice, fresh sandwiches and good coffee. Grazie!
09/10/2025: I stopped by this cafe because I had some time to kill before catching my train! It's a quiet spot with few tourists, making it a great place to take a break, and the coffee is delicious! The owner was incredibly friendly and gentle.👍👍 It's on the way to Venice Station, so if you're thirsty or have sore legs, I recommend stopping by!

Mario's Pizza

04/12/2025: I visited this pizzeria back in September, and it was easily one of the best experiences I’ve had in Italy. The pizza was delicious, the service was incredibly fast, and the staff were genuinely kind. The prices were also surprisingly low for the quality. What impressed me most was that they prepared 14 pizzas for us just two minutes before closing, even though they had already started packing up. They still served everything with a smile, and even let us stay on the chairs outside after closing for as long as we wanted to finish our food. A truly wonderful place — highly recommended!
05/11/2025: Great local pizza. We ordered 4 pieces delivery - with a small delay, but still pretty hot. Good choice for a dinner when we didn't want to go anywhere.
