I've been to SOLLEONE Palermo and I have to say the food is truly excellent: generous portions, well-seasoned meat, and flavorful sandwiches. The fries were crispy and tasty, really well-made. The wait was moderate, all in all acceptable considering the place was packed. The only flaw: the confusion, but that's understandable given the influx of customers. I'm a regular at "Solleone," and I have to say the food has always been the restaurant's strong point. The sandwiches are fresh and tasty, the pizzas are cooked to perfection, and the Italian dishes are always prepared with high-quality ingredients. However, the service is another story. The wait staff always seem uninterested in the customers, and the wait time is often excessive. I waited up to 20 minutes for my bill, so much so that after asking three different waiters, I went to the cashier, even though they needed the free seat first because there were so many people waiting outside. Despite everything, the food is truly good, and I'd love to recommend this place unreservedly. If the service improved, "Solleone" could become a true reference point for locals in the city. We booked a table, but unfortunately, upon our arrival, we had to wait for the entire group to arrive before we could be seated. The wait was excruciating: about 40 minutes just to order, despite repeatedly signaling to the staff that we were ready. We were told that even to order, we had to wait our "turn," a system that made the experience frustrating. The service seemed completely disorganized, with the two kitchens seemingly disconnected. This led to an absurd situation: the appetizers arrived practically at the same time as the pizzas and other dishes. Despite the efforts of the waiters, who rushed to manage everything, the inefficiency of the ordering system ruined the dinner. We spent almost three hours there, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and the only thing that saved the evening was the excellent quality of the food. We wisely ordered dessert right away to avoid another interminable wait. The overall experience was so disappointing that, despite the delicious food, I won't be returning. I strongly recommend the restaurant hire more staff and drastically improve its order management to prevent all the dishes arriving at once.

Ragazzi, ve lo dico col cuore: se non siete mai stati da Solleone a Palermo vi state perdendo i panini più buoni d’Italia! Ogni volta che ci vado è una goduria. Ingredienti freschi, panini spettacolari e un’atmosfera che ti fa sentire a casa. I proprietari sono delle persone splendide, sempre disponibili e con una parola buona per tutti. Lo staff? Numero uno, sempre sul pezzo e con il sorriso. Anche se fai un po' di coda per entrare è uno di quei posti dove non vai solo a mangiare, ma a stare bene. Consigliatissimo! Se passate da Palermo, fateci un salto… e poi mi dite.
