Solleone was a wonderful and pleasant surprise, a sandwich shop and more, because here you can find everything, from panini to titbits to piadinas, platters, pizza, burgers, and so much more. We tried an appetizer of fresh potatoes with bacon and cheese fondue, a panini, and a burger, which were really good.
The place is cute, the staff is kind, helpful, and very quick in preparing the dishes.
We will definitely be back.

It's been our Friday night hangout after the gym for years...
I won't say anymore, come and try it. Super good sandwiches, super fast service, and great people... I recommend it 10 stars...

I've been coming to this sandwich shop/pizzeria for at least 20 years, and their sandwiches have always been delicious. I recommend only going on weekdays because they don't take reservations these days, and the shift is purely walk-in. Forget about going on Saturday nights unless you're in good company and chatting helps pass the time. One sore point is the poor service these days, provided by many young waiters who, in my opinion, haven't received the proper training on how to manage the dining room and customers. If I have to get up after receiving my pizza because there were no silverware, that's not exactly the best.

If someone were to ask me, where should we go for a sandwich? I'd have to say Solleone! It's a sure thing. But the pizza and accompanying appetizers are also exceptional. Super-fast and excellent service. The place is large and clean.

In my opinion 5 stars are too few, excellent food, courteous staff and a beautiful environment and also a safe environment where we can spend a nice evening with the family given what is around in our beloved Palermo.

Excellent value for money, the vast menu gives you goosebumps just browsing through it. The first time you visit, it'll take you 20 minutes to figure out what to eat. I absolutely recommend looking it up in advance and going in with a clear idea.
The inside becomes unlivable when it's busy; the outside is quieter.
The staff isn't particularly friendly, but I don't blame them given the number of people.

I returned to Solleone after years and found it pleasantly renovated. The staff was quick and attentive, and service was excellent even when the place was crowded. The food was excellent; we ordered sandwiches, and the quality/quantity/price ratio was excellent. Highly recommended.
