A simple and unpretentious place, with reasonable prices, a varied selection, and good quality. The only flaw is the wine list; only one wine (and a poor one at that) is a serious oversight.

The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere isn't very cozy, but that doesn't matter at all between the locals and the fresh food. The service was also excellent!

We ate octopus and pizza, both were deliciously prepared.

Eating here is like eating at your grandmother's, who cooks beautifully. All the dishes are seafood-based, traditionally from Bari. The place is simple and unpretentious. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Reservations are recommended.

I visited De Giosa – Pesce, Pizza e Ristorante in San Giorgio (Bari) and I must say it was a pleasant discovery. The restaurant is simple and unfussy, but as soon as the dishes arrive, you realize the highlight is the quality of the fish: incredibly fresh, both raw and cooked. I highly recommend the seafood appetizers and the seafood spaghetti, which are truly well-prepared. The staff is young, friendly, and always available, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The bill was also a pleasant surprise: excellent value, especially considering the freshness of the ingredients. If you're looking for an elegant restaurant, it might not be the right choice, but for those who want to eat well, without spending too much, and in a relaxed atmosphere, it's perfect. I'll definitely be back.

Even though the place is spartan, we ate excellent fried focaccia from Bari and panzerotti at a good price.

The place is spartan and the prices are too high: €14 for spaghetti with seafood is a restaurant price, not a place with plastic tables and paper tablecloths. The appetizers are good, the fried food is very salty (it can happen), but above all, the roasted octopus sold for €12 each, stuffed full of garlic. Why? Perhaps it wasn't fresh? It's a mystery, but the fact remains that in Bari, no one has ever eaten octopus with garlic.
