Everything was excellent, at least in my personal experience.
The fried anchovies were amazing, the mussels au gratin, and the peppered pasta were excellent; the same goes for the spaghetti with mussels and the mixed fried fish.
Inl tutin, a simple setting just a few meters from the sea.
Excellent value for money.
I will definitely be back.

The place is spartan and the prices are too high: €14 for spaghetti with seafood is a restaurant price, not a place with plastic tables and paper tablecloths.
The appetizers are good, the fried food is very salty (it can happen), but above all, the roasted octopus sold for €12 each, stuffed full of garlic. Why?
Perhaps it wasn't fresh? It's a mystery, but the fact remains that in Bari, no one has ever eaten octopus with garlic.

A pure Bari experience. The best spaghetti with mussels in Puglia. Family-run and absolutely courteous. The new generations are extremely polite. Salvatore served us and it was exceptional. Our reservation is guaranteed at least once every summer.

Simple location, I've known the place for years as it was the offshoot of an excellent bakery.
Instead, it surprises you with an excellent, varied menu and very fresh fish.

This is our favorite place to eat fresh, very fresh fish, all cooked to order, simple dishes with just the right flavor.
We come here several times during the summer to enjoy the homemade, authentic cuisine. We've tried practically everything they cook and have always been delighted by the "scarpetta" (a type of bread) in the cherry tomato sauce.
The grilled fish is spectacular, you can taste the flavor of the sea.
The raw seafood is cleaned on the spot; there's always a lady at the back of the room opening dozens and dozens of mussels for everyone to see.
A simple place with plastic tables and chairs, but it's filled with warmth, authenticity, and flavor.
It's true that it's hot because it's right on the seafront, and on humid days the discomfort is even more noticeable, but the space isn't enclosed; it's a large terrace covered by a tensile structure on the ceiling. This year, they installed fans, and they'll surely gradually cover the entire area.
If you're looking for substance and good quality rather than appearance, you're in the right place.
It opens in early May and closes (seasonally) until early October.
The restaurant is only open for dinner in the evening, but also for lunch on Sundays.
I always recommend making a reservation because it's always full.
I thank Mrs. Assunta, the restaurant's chef, for fulfilling my off-menu request (clams 😉) for a special occasion. ❤️❤️🥹
