Panificio Pennino In Benevento

18/10/2025: Restaurant in the ghost town of old Apice, expectations were high. Difficulty viewing the menu QR code (I had to go outside to see the menu). Poor service (we ordered a €35 sparkling wine and it was served poorly: it was opened and left on the table). Good pizza.

08/09/2025: I tried the pizza and it was decent... The toppings and fillings were excellent, but the dough was a little burnt, but I think that's how they make it in the area. I've had others and they were always burnt, maybe even worse on one occasion. I don't like the fact that there's no paper menu at all; you have to rely on your phone and QR code... I wish I had the old paper menu... I was in a group, and they helped me. But if I were alone, I would have looked elsewhere; that makes me nervous... Plus, I don't have internet on my phone. The staff was very kind, and it was pleasant anyway.
