I liked it so much that I visited three times during my stay in Rome. The maritozzo is the shop's most popular item. This simple, nostalgic bread is lightly coated in sugar and filled with plenty of cream. The lightness of the bread makes the rich presence of the cream stand out even more. You should definitely try this maritozzo! It's not flashy, but has a gentle, soul-warming flavor. This baked goods shop has a gentle warmth to it, from the sweets to the atmosphere of the shop and the personalities of the owners. I highly recommend it.

I was passing by and saw a lot of locals so I went in. They were really friendly and the maritozzo and canelé were really delicious! The maritozzo bread itself was a little dry but oily so I thought it was fried and it was savory. The cream wasn't too sweet and it went well together. I recommend it!!! The canelé was also the best I've had in Rome. I regret only buying one ㅠㅜㅜ
