Nice little bakery near the train station in Firenze. We enjoyed both the food and service. Narrow seating area, don't bring your huge luggage in.

I love donuts and discovered Bomboloni, a fried donut coated in sugar and filled with a custard. This one was from Panificio Pasticceria Lanotte, near the Santa Maria Novella train station. It was a great sweet treat for breakfast!

We happened upon it by chance during our vacation days in Florence. We had a schiacciata with mortadella, stracciatella and pistachios that was out of this world. Very kind staff, honest prices and a stone's throw from the SMN station. Congratulations!

Delicious pasteries, for a really good price. I came looking for a panettone, they didnt have those, so I asked for a different cake. I ended up with something mais almond ish, and it was one of the most delicious pastries I’ve had in a while. Definitely worth a visit.

22/10/2025: Unfortunately, this is an Italian restaurant that, on the one hand, is focused on quantity and treats tourists differently than locals. We were seated separately from the locals, along with other tourists. The food arrived quickly after ordering and looked the part. It also didn't taste like fresh ingredients. If you're looking for quantity and speed, you can go there. But not for freshly cooked food.
14/10/2025: A romantic evening for two, enjoying excellent seafood. Everything is fresh and beautifully served. Excellent wine, even by the glass. A relaxed atmosphere. The chef and owners are colorful, Florentine in style, friendly, and helpful. We'll be back to try other delicacies.

Pizzeria Amalfitana

01/10/2025: I had a lovely experience at Pizzeria Amalfitana in Florence. The place is cozy and inviting, with a warm, local vibe. The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home. I came for lunch and was a bit surprised to learn they only serve pizza in the evening, but the food I had was still delicious. I will back for dinner just to try the pizza. Great spot for a relaxed, authentic meal!
10/09/2025: Excellent service and attention. The food was plentiful and of very good quality. I'd like to highlight the affordable price of the food for the high quality. We will definitely return when we return to Florence. 10/10.
