If I could give 50 stars I would give them we always stop before going up to Valtellina to get their super pizza and foccacia with raisins the sales assistants are always nice and kind... well done you are SUPER

I think this place is a must stop for anyone who is on that road. I always stop to stock up on bread, pizza and typical products when I go to the mountains, to have a quick lunch on site, a breakfast or a simple stopover. Although it is very visible it is easy to pass it by if you don't know why it's near a curve on a mountain road, but once you spot it you recognize it from the row of cars parked outside, you can't go wrong. You will always find a place because they have a very large car park.

I have been frequenting this bakery for years, when I go up to Ponte di Legno in the summer. It is an obligatory stop to enjoy truly delicious and fresh sweets and/or savories. The staff is really good and friendly. There is very convenient parking, a fresh water fountain and even practical toilets. The only flaw, there is no waste bin, there are only bins for use in the room (I presume).

Spectacular cakes to eat and give as gifts. Fixed stop when going from Brescia to Ponte di Legno. My favorite is the one made with chestnut flour and walnuts. Show!!

Ho fatto una sosta lungo il viaggio per Livigno : da come me l'avevano descritto pensavo qualcosa di indimenticabile... io ho preso la famosa focaccia dolce... insomma, niente di che...era molto gommosa a me non e' sembrato indimenticabile..

19/05/2025: Exceptional. Very well-kept place without weighing down the atmosphere; large windows that allow you to appreciate the beautiful view towards the plain, very suggestive at sunset. The scented towels to dry your hands in the bathroom are a touch of class. The very kind and well-prepared staff accompanies the tasting of the dishes with passionate but never invasive explanations. The dishes are the highlight, particular and satisfying tastes, top-notch ingredients, imagination and concreteness make the experience surprising at every course. The bill is much more than honest compared to what was written previously. To conclude I wanted to thank Trattoria la Madia because I haven't been so excited about a dinner in a long time, thank you!; highly recommended.
11/05/2025: Returning after about a year, expectations met, excellent food, service and environment, combinations and tastes in some truly particular dishes, perhaps not pleasant for everyone. Excellent value for money
