Of the three places I've tried, this one is the most recommended for busarola in Burano. It's large enough for two people, and has a distinct apple flavor. They say the busarola has been made in the same family for generations.

The traditional busola was a great cookie, they were soft and had the shape S and a unique flavour with chocolate chip or plain. We bought a few packs to take back home. Made the trip to Burano worthwhile in the rain.

Excellent pastry shop. I met them in person when I worked in Venice, and now that I'm in Friuli, I use their online shop to enjoy their delicious cookies again. Super-fast delivery and perfectly packaged.

OMG! Forget the flashy pastries you can get anywhere. The traditional busola might be the best cookie I’ve ever tasted! You owe it to yourself to experience this unique treat! Soft but substantial and so delicately flavored! Made the trip to Burano worthwhile all by itself!

The S shaped cookie with chocolate was nice enough, nothing spectacular but I'm glad I tried it. Chocolate chips were still a bit warm so that was good.

S shaped cookie was soft inside and I liked it. I had the chocolate one. Pizza biscuits also pretty good. I tried one other biscuit next to the pizza ones and they tasted bland

04/03/2026: The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. They can accommodate large groups. I had the seafood spaghetti.
27/02/2026: We had a wonderful meal here last night, just down the street from our hotel near the Theatre of. Venice. The aperol spritzes were the tastiest we’ve ever had! I loved my pasta with pesto, and my husband had the sole with lemon sauce. The server painstakingly deboned it at the table, which was very interesting. He said it was the best lemon sauce he’s ever had, and the fish itself was also delicious. Then they gave us free limoncello at the end. The servers were excellent, and it was a friendly atmosphere. We walked in without a reservation in late February, but it’s probably best to reserve in high season. Our best meal in our 3 days in Venice- Highly recommended!

20/10/2025: How delicious! How beautiful! I loved everything! The welcome, the food, the atmosphere, the music. An environment where you can breathe in and enjoy cuisine from other lands. I'm vegetarian and had a hard time choosing a dish from the many on the menu. My companion instead chose a fish dish, very fresh and beautifully cooked. I've been wanting to go back! Thanks for the delicious wine. Photos? As always, I forget when I can't resist eating.
19/10/2025: Stopped in for some lunch on a sunday not expecting much (not that the indian food in italy is bad by any means!) but considering i’ve grown up eating it as an indian myself i was simply ready to just have a meal with familiar tastes if nothing more but i was amazed at how good the food truly was and how authentic it tasted and to find it here in Lido of all places was a great surprise! hands down some of the best indian food i’ve had in the world! i got the chicken jal fry with garlic paratha! will definitely come back again! 12/10!!
