When I entered this bakery I wanted to walk out with the entire bakery and eat it all When they say that the eyes also want their part, but I would enter safely with my eyes closed just from the scent I would say intoxicating

Small bakery offering foccacias, sandwiches, tarts... The cheese and spinach sandwich is not bad but the dough is very thick which makes it heavy to eat. On the other hand, the foccacias are to die for, the tomato ones are very good and the zucchini-thyme delicious! The waitress speaks perfect English and two tables are set up outside for seating. Allow €6.50 for two pieces of foccacia and a drink.

The best focaccia in Matera hands down, as well as the unbeatable prices. Located in the center, it is the best focaccia you will ever eat, and the staff is very kind!

Last year i came here because i asked the owner of one of the museums here where to get the best focaccia in town, and he wrote paoluccio on a note for me. I had to come back with my boyfriend today, one year later for more. It’s delicious! Light, with really flavorful tomato sauce and the lovely taste of olive oil. Grazie mille 🤩

A Matera tradition of excellence! A space focaccia! After 40 years I still find the same scent, the same flavor that distinguish the excellent product. You absolutely must stop here every time you visit Matera.

Perfect for breakfast! Delicious focaccia but what impressed me was the brioche, which was warm and really foamy.
