We took a Schüttelbrot and Vinschgauer bread course with Klaus and were absolutely thrilled. He shared a wealth of knowledge about bread baking and old traditions; we were able to try our hand at it ourselves and take home plenty of bread and recipes. The highlight was tasting the freshly baked bread – a true taste experience! Highly recommended.

We took a Schüttelbrot and Vinschgau Paarlen course with Klaus. He did a sensational job. He gave us lots of information about bread, yeast, and generally how food was preserved in the old days. Scraping the Paarlen wasn't difficult. The Schüttelbrot, on the other hand, isn't easy to shake. At the end, we were treated to our own Schüttelbrot gin or schnapps and lots of bread to take home. Thanks, Klaus, it was a fantastic afternoon.

Opinions are divided on bread...because many people don't know what's behind it, or what's actually in it. We took a bread-baking course with a master baker. It was very educational and a lot of fun to be able to share in and gain insight into the daily bread in a bakery. The Vinschger Paarlan and Schüttelbrot produced in the course are, of course, the best-tasting; you can get the professional products and more at the bakery.

I'm Swabian, and I love German bread. No other country in the world can compete with us. By foreign standards, this bakery is perfectly fine. But I'm looking forward to my black bread, brattwurst, or multigrain rolls again.
