11/09/2025: I was looking for a casual place, not the usual restaurant, and I found this very nice place. We tried a couple of their specialties: the caponata, which was delicious! Then a very good zucchini millefeuille and a platter of cured meats and cheeses.
We were very satisfied.
Congratulations!

28/08/2025: An authentic place in the heart of Agrigento's historic center
A'Putia Bottega Siciliana was a real discovery: located on a quiet yet lively street in the center, it offers a welcoming atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor tables, ideal for relaxing and enjoying quality local products.
I tried the schiacciata Telamone, stuffed with Sicilian black pork and delicious Santo Stefano cheese—a generous portion, balanced flavors, truly satisfying. For aperitifs, they serve chips and toasted chickpeas, with a cover charge of €3.
For drinks, I tried both the red and white wines, both excellent. The white struck me with its apricot notes, lively acidity, and smooth body—very pleasant.
The staff is young, friendly, and knowledgeable, carefully explaining the origins of the wines and ingredients, all carefully selected and sourced from Sicily. You can tell they focus on quality here, without frills.
€6 for a glass of wine, and the schiacciata is more than fair considering the quantity and quality. You leave feeling full and satisfied.
The atmosphere is convivial, with a predominantly local clientele—families, couples, friends—and this helps make the experience even more authentic. An excellent place for those who want to enjoy authentic Sicilian flavors, away from the usual tourist destinations.
Recommended for a long aperitivo, a casual dinner, or a relaxed evening with friends.
I would gladly return.
