I'd like to understand what fanciful arithmetic rules dictate that four sandwiches cost €1.20 for customer A, and a sandwich of the same type costs €0.50 for customer B. Besides, a little less crappy service would be nice. Update: The bakers are made less crappy, excellent.

A gentleman at the counter saw me tired and offered me a slice of pizza, which was very kind 😅 The bread is good and so is the pizza.

Under the new management, Meli's bakery has definitely improved. The bread is excellent, especially the naturally leavened one, which is truly delicious. The biscuits and pizzas also deserve a mention for their quality and flavor. Furthermore, with the glass-enclosed exterior now offering the option of stopping in for lunch, choosing a well-seasoned sandwich or one of the daily specials, listed on a chalkboard. A practical and pleasant solution. I had a good experience, and found the prices to be reasonable. If I really had to point out a small area that could be improved, I'd say a little more smile at the cashier would make the atmosphere even more welcoming: there's no shortage of kindness, but a slightly more empathetic approach wouldn't hurt.
