Panificio La Farina Antony In Catania

I've had this place on my bucket list for a long time, so one afternoon I decided to come here and get a tray of various sweet treats. I ordered two rame, one pistachio and the other crunchy pistachio. The regular one was probably better, although I thought both would be moister inside, but they were a bit dry. Then I ordered a pistachio bimbo. The cream was good, but it tasted like a panettone, and it's so big it's hard to eat so easily. Then I ordered a hazelnut square and a pistachio square. The hazelnut was NI, but the pistachio one was really good. Then I also ordered a pistachio-covered cannoli filled with pistachio ricotta, not bad. Finally, I ordered three things from the savory section: one with pancetta and pistachio Philadelphia, one with chips and sausage, and the other with olives and mozzarella. The dough was delicious, but the fillings were nothing special. Very popular place and they almost only do takeaway, let's say I left them about twenty euros but at least I tried them and if I have to say my opinion I would prefer that they focus more on improving the ones they already have before continuing to create new flavors and ideas.

I still have to try the cipollina, but it was already sold out....they told me it's the best in Catania!! But the hot food I ate was very good, I'll definitely be back soon.

It used to be the best diner I've ever eaten at, but over the years the size and quality have decreased, but the worst thing is the sales assistants at the counter, they are unpleasant and unprofessional, yesterday I went to get a cake and when I asked what was inside I was mockingly told "what's inside a cheesecake", probably she didn't even know what was inside

Excellent welcome, perfect cleanliness, excellent service at the sales counter, excellent delicacies, what can I say? Go and try them.

Everything was delicious, a must-visit for quick snacks and full lunches. Prices are average, but the quality is right, with an excellent variety of products.

La Farina bakery is a guarantee, this year I bought two fantastic lotus and pistachio panettone, really delicious! 😋
