I don't always manage it, but I try to stop by almost every day to be pampered and chat. Also because otherwise Stefania gets worried and immediately asks me how I'm doing. Beyond the pleasure for the palate, there's a real social, human connection that, unfortunately, is increasingly difficult to find in Milan. But the baker endures! He gives me the energy I need to face the long workday. There are often days dedicated to specialties that, besides being delicious, have that Proustian flavor that warms my heart. Today I stopped by twice: cream bombolone for breakfast and chocolate diplomata for a snack—MASTERPIECE! Since it's almost time, they also make some brilliant homemade panettone during the Christmas season.
