I am originally from Laterza. Every time I'm in the area, Panificio Di Fonzo is a regular stop. Bread, friselle, focaccia, panzerotti and krapfen are our musts and they are wonderful. The smells and flavors are those that only a bakery in Laterza can give you. And this is our favorite in Laterza. Highly recommended!

My husband loves finding niche delicacies.... How delicious the bread.... the potato focaccia.... little by little we will try all the sweet and savory delicacies. All these goodness arrive on time in Val. Pusteria...in South Tyrol..... Congratulations...🤩

Even if it offers itself with an English name, which does not bring it any added value, on the contrary, it offers a bread that respects the canons of the best Laertina bread-making tradition which it accompanies with other products always of the same quality. Naturally this ancient oven, even if modernized, continues to be fueled with firewood.

29/10/2024: At Rega, fantastic pizza, huge, I took two capricciosa, it seemed like they had given me the dough and asked me how much stuff to put in and I had answered "yes". So good that I even ate what I used to hate, it changed my taste buds. If you go, please order for me, I'll give you the money later.

05/12/2024: Excellent value for money. Excellent pizzas.
15/11/2024: I went here to try their panzerotti rotation. An appetizer of fried foods is served and then we move on to special non-stop panzerotti chosen by them (special) to conclude with a sweet panzerotto. The panzerotti, as well as being delicious, are very particular. Everything is included in the €12, including drinks and cover charge. This place deserves much more visibility, if you are in the area, give it a chance. Happy to have discovered this little gem.
