Best focaccias in the the world!! My love for focaccia and Italian bread started when I happened upon this place 9 years ago. To my pleasant surprise, it was kosher! I just went back with my kids and it still is sooo good! And the people are soo nice. They kept giving my kids more pieces to try. And I even got to see their amazing oven and the crazy long pizza peels. Go here. Run here! And go early!
Thank you for being open

From the outside it doesn't look like an excellent bakery but once you enter you will be greeted by very polite staff and believe me when I tell you that the food they produce by hand is of incredible excellence. But tasted such good focaccias and pizzas. Compliments.

Small bakery in the heart of San Salvario, a few steps from the market in via Madama Cristina. Small yes, but absolutely the best bakery in Turin. The scent of fresh bread and focaccia reaches you two streets away, you are greeted by extremely kind and knowledgeable staff, the bread is fragrant and as good as it used to be (if you happen to have any left over, just heat it up and it will be as good as it was when it was just made). even done after two days). It's a place of my heart, I always happily go back and I recommend everyone to try the legendary red focaccia, the one with onions or the one with olives.

Panificio Bertino holds a venerable spot in the hearts of locals, cherished for its deep-rooted history and steadfast adherence to tradition. Amidst a sea of modern focaccia makers that play with innovative recipes, this bakery prides itself on a more classic approach: a denser focaccia, simply yet elegantly topped with tomatoes or seasonal vegetables.
I have had the pleasure of trying both the plain and tomato-topped focaccia. While both were certainly palatable, I found the bread slightly too heavy for my liking, and the plain version tipped the scales on saltiness. For enthusiasts of hearty, traditional focaccia, Panificio Bertino will not disappoint. However, those in pursuit of a lighter, airier bite may find their tastes better suited elsewhere.

Small bakery, but I can say that, although in the area there are other competing bakeries of a recognized level and awarded with honours, the focaccia and pizza here are of a top level (to my taste, the best focaccia/pizza I have eaten in Turin) and the prices are certainly more affordable than the aforementioned competitors.
Nice and witty staff, almost irreverent, but it's all there.
I recommend a visit to this place.
