Better than in Naples! My favorites among the wide selection of pastries, cookies, and traditional desserts. The millefoglie carsoline are another must-try specialty. The Illy coffee is always excellent, perfect with morning croissants. The place was recently renovated and tastefully decorated. The welcome is beyond warm; we always love coming back.

Compared to the past, the quality has declined, where 20 years ago, after a trip to Basovizza or by bike, the "Crema" was always a must. The cream pastries are "tired," like the other pastries. They're not at the quality they once were, or comparable to Bombom or Viezzoli in the center, which are still excellent. I don't know, it seems like the passion has faded? Maybe think about it. Discovered by chance on my way back from Rijeka to Trieste. Delicious and carefully presented desserts. I had a delicious raspberry pastry! Very kind staff. A true Italian excellence.

First time here today on a friend's recommendation. The line in front of the pastry shop already indicated something good 😉 We tried a little bit of everything and the conclusion is as follows: 1. Pizza cut - we took several types and they were all excellent. 2. Aperol Spritz - very good with lots of Aperol. 3. Cakes - an explosion of taste and aroma 4. Coffee - top quality iilly caffe 5. Bread for home - crispy and delicious Recommended in any case, especially for those who want to feel the spirit of real Italian pastries da una volta 😉❤️

Discovered by chance on the return trip from Croatia to Naples. Excellent pastry shop and bar, very friendly staff.

It's a shame that seating is limited.

In my opinion, this is the best pastry shop in Trieste. I've been coming here for years and have always found quality, excellent service, and everything I've ordered has been divine. The redesign may seem like other pastry shops, and I've read the quote "pane quotidiano e co." But comparing Marc to Psne quotidiano, at least in my opinion, is absolutely wrong. 10 to 1 Marc. Keep up the good work, thanks.

Bakery, pastry shop very popular with Trieste residents on weekends where you can taste typical Trieste pastry desserts famous for the Carsoli cream pastry. Excellent coffee and wide choice of bread.

The staff is rude and uninterested. They don't have an alternative to cow's milk (soy or any other), and coffee at the counter costs €1.50.
