25/08/2025: The two of us went for lunch on a Saturday in August. We were seated on the terrace, and the sea view is superb! I'd say the location is excellent. Upon entering, we immediately noticed the fishmonger, which convinced us it was a great place to eat seafood. As we were about to sit down, we were immediately asked if we wanted water and a fish appetizer. We started by ordering water, but the management immediately seemed disorganized, as another waiter, shortly after, asked us for the same. These repetitions occurred again throughout the meal. We did, however, order a small appetizer of calamari tagliatelle and two spaghetti with mussels. I actually wanted to order the cavatelli with mussels and clams instead of the spaghetti with mussels, but after my friend ordered spaghetti with mussels, the waiter pressured me into ordering that anyway... Well, I accepted to help with the preparation and the kitchen. During the service, we were repeatedly, somewhat insistently, offered various additions. Overall, the service was lacking and could use some work. However, the food was very good, both the starters and the appetizer, and we could taste the quality of the fish.
25/08/2025: A typical Apulian restaurant featuring an almost exclusively seafood menu. The seafront dining area is particularly popular, offering the opportunity to enjoy the sea breeze and the stunning view. The quality of the food and the fresh fish are excellent. The only downside was that we were seated at an outside table next to a small group of "noisy" men who were quite familiar with the owner and perhaps for this reason felt entitled to raise their voices as if they were at home.
We wanted to enjoy the calm of the sea and the caress of the wind, but instead we left feeling a bit annoyed by the confusion that had arisen throughout our stay and by the owner's negligence, who, in my opinion, assumed we were enjoying all that loud chatter. As for the service, I wouldn't consider it excellent. We struggled to get the attention of the waiters attending our table on several occasions. That same day, the restaurant published Gabbani's photo on its pages... perhaps they were all trying not to make a bad impression on him.
Hoping you don't run into "the group of troublemakers," I can tell you that this place is worth a visit. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't particularly fond of seafood, however, because there's very little land available.
