Very high quality products just a little too expensive

Excellent bread, texture and taste like a French bakery. We were so disappointed to see that you were on vacation on our second visit! So we tried Italian bread again, which wasn't at all of the same standard. Here, you can tell right away that it's homemade. Very pleasant service from the staff. Beautiful shop.

Maidda's bread is truly special, as the bakery decided to create something different from the typical Sicilian bread (although delicious). You'll find delicious breads and rolls, from five-grain to whole-wheat, from simple to incredibly soft rolls to olive rolls, pizza, and focaccia. All made with sourdough starter and are of excellent quality. The freshly filled maritozzi are a must-try. The place is very quaint and welcoming, but the staff, on the day I went, wasn't very friendly. It felt like they were doing me a favor by serving me... what a shame.

Excellent quality leavened products

Small place but surprisingly rich in all types of bread. It is a bakery but you can also have breakfast. We also bought something for lunch on the beach: everything was delicious. The prices are more than fair.
