Dispensa Franciacorta is one of those places that doesn't need to overdo it to convince you that it's worth coming back. The place has a sober elegance, without unnecessary frills, and you immediately perceive the attention to detail, both in the service and in the selection of products. The cuisine is of a high standard, with dishes that respect tradition but without getting trapped in it. You can feel that the ingredients are of high quality, and the wine list is obviously a paradise for those who love Franciacorta and its surroundings. The staff is well-trained and knows how to tell you what you are drinking without coming off as pedantic. It's not a cheap place, but not pretentious either. You pay for what you get, and in this case it's a certainty.

This place is a real gem. We stopped in without a reservation while we were traveling. The cuisine is a refined elaboration of great classics of Italian cuisine. although I would have appreciated more seasoning in the winter vegetables, the ossobuco tortelli were excellent (and what a presentation). The pear ice cream (better to say sorbet), was the best I've ever tried. My colleague was also pleasantly surprised by the fois gras with brioche, the sweet and sour duck and his dessert. Portions structured perfectly, as you feel full but not full. Super recommended!

Bene, molto bene, ma anche qualche sbavatura di troppo alla Dispensa, nel cuore della Franciacorta. Partiamo dalla cucina: di alto livello con una estrema ricerca del gusto ma in porzioni troppo mignon che alla fine lasciano pure la fame e si è costretti dopo due portate - così noi abbiamo dovuto fare - a ordinare un tagliere di salumi a fine pranzo... Il parfait di tinche, sardine marinate, uova di salmerino e curry si riduce a due cucchiaiate di cibo, pur gustose ma sempre striminzite. Poco di più il primo, che siano i sei gnocchi di patate o la manciata di cavatelli (troppo dolci) con cime di rape e anguilla affumicata. Il giudizio sui piatti è molto positivo ma anche la quantità deve esserci, altrimenti per non uscire con la fame si è costretti a prendere un piatto di salumi in chiusura. Quanto al resto, il contesto e gli arredi sono davvero molto curati, caldi e coinvolgenti, bella la grande esposizione di bottiglie del territorio, tutte ordinate e ben allineate. Il tavolo è un po' troppo semplice, con la tovaglietta che sebbene griffata fa fast food. Servizio: quando la sala è piena c'è qualche sbavatura e dimenticanza, tipo il pane non portato o nessuno che passa a portare la lista dei vini (in Franciacorta!!!). Bagno in ottime condizioni. Conto? Troppo salato non per la qualità ma per le quantità.

Tutto perfetto, un po’ costoso, prezzi leggermente sopra la Norma ma ottimo il servizio e la qualità del cibo!! Locale intimo e accogliente.
