I have to revise my review. I used to appreciate the place and the food, but now it seems to be getting worse. It's a shame, but the portions are small and not particularly good. It's a shame the menu is unusual. I'd like to try again because the place is very welcoming.

Delicious place in the center of Bologna Unfortunately, I don't have any photos because everything was so good that I didn't have time 🤭 Appetizer: Cantabrian anchovies on a bed of stracciatella cheese, followed by a huge, super-delicious and light fried fish platter. Fresh fish in the center of Bologna 👏🏼

Lovely reprieve from ‘typical’ Bologna food if you want a break. Terrific staff, a nice long lunch in a wonderful atmosphere.

We had lunch with friends who live in Bologna and chose this restaurant. And it was a great choice!!! The restaurant is warm and welcoming, tastefully decorated, and evokes the feeling of a Sunday lunch at a relative's house. The lady (whose name we didn't ask 😅) who served us the wine was lovely, kind, and very polite. Mr. Gilberto is an impeccable host, empathetic and never intrusive, and knows his stuff in the restaurant business. We tasted wonderful dishes, very well cooked and with slightly unusual pairings that made everything stand out. I don't know about the bill, as my husband paid, but he later told me it was very reasonable. They'll also be able to advise you on the best wines. Meanwhile, I recommend you consider this a must-try. You won't regret it.
