Pane e Olio In San nicandro garganico

Everything was very good! From the service to the food. Minimal wait. I had pizza and my wife had baked sea bass, both delicious! We had a portion of fries with caciocavallo fondue while we waited, and they were delicious, although I would have preferred more caciocavallo. Upon arrival, they also gave us an entrée of stale bread with oil, oregano, and garlic, all delicious!

I have to say I feel at home. The welcome is warm. A very quiet place for almost any occasion. The pizza chef is top notch. The staff is kind and friendly. In short, go there, the food is great.

Just got home after dinner, as I've done on other occasions at this place. And despite the hour, I decided to write this review, especially because I was the last customer to leave. So the owner might remember my face. Why do I go to Pane e Olio, and why will I return? Because I like it there, there's parking, it's a casual place that makes you feel comfortable, with friendly, timely service. The pizza is better than many other places, and the price is fair. The downside, however, is the owner's attitude. Anyone reading this review who's from around here knows it: here, friends and everyone else are welcome, in every way. So it happens that friends are greeted at the bar with a smile, offered a liqueur... And meanwhile, the others (tonight I was "the others") stand there waiting, only to be dismissed at their leisure (never mind the liqueur!), without even a polite smile. I imagine the owner and I aren't the nicest people you'll ever meet. However, on this occasion I was his customer, and he was someone who played his role poorly. However, since this is in line with the standards of this country, I will return to be his guest and dine at his restaurant. In fact, I invite you to go there too, and if you're not friends with the owner, at least ask him to smile at you when he presents you with the bill.

A talented chef, who, along with his staff, personally oversees the dishes and the location, making the atmosphere and food unique and special. Highly recommended.

We often stay with friends or family. The place is clean, the staff friendly, the food excellent, and the owner is fantastic.
