A lovely, authentic family-run bakery with multilingual staff (they also speak German). Easily the best bread in all of Catania, especially their traditional timilia and other wholesome, healthy varieties. And much, much more… come and be surprised!

I won't waste time praising the individual products or the excellent flours, because that would be superfluous, as the quality, goodness, and love that come from Giusi's ovens are absolutely acclaimed and acknowledged by a multitude of customers who, for years, have been breaking this excellent bread on their tables every day. What I want to focus on and highlight, instead, are the two things that have always struck me: the exceptional team of polite and courteous men and women who, together with Giusi, contribute to the creation of such genuine goodness and the absolutely popular character of this bakery. This bakery is Cibali. It's Prince Umberto with generations of students making breakfast there. It's the Cibali Stadium. This bakery is Catania. The authentic one. In the city, several bakeries produce excellent bread, but along with their bread, they also churn out "Catanese meatballs," dramatically speculating on flour and effectively turning themselves into jewelry stores.
