Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Warm location, varied menu and truly authentic flavors with truly exceptional variations. Personally, the snails are the top but everything else is no different. I highly recommend trying such taste and kindness

Extremely positive dining experience. Nice environment. Courteous and passionate staff in the presentation of each individual course. Recommended for lovers of tradition and all those who appreciate the pleasant and slow passing of time. To be repeated!

Outstanding! The food options are very interesting and well executed. You need to come here with no rush to enjoy the well curated service from the owner (I am sorry I did not get his name). A cozy, quiet atmosphere allows you to have a wonderful experience.

What can I say, an experience that moves from tradition to innovation with a common thread that feels genuine Staff worthy of the product offered, welcoming and clean place, dishes that make you daydream I would have written this review even before I sat down at the table, because those who are used to going to restaurants immediately have an inkling of what will happen shortly thereafter. What to say about the owner, a knowledgeable person who explains each dish as if he were illustrating a painting by Manet, and he is absolutely right given that his dishes come out of the kitchen like paintings that make you dream

A dispetto di una apparenza esterna tutto sommato anonima l interno è assai curato e con una eleganza semplice. Due linee di proposte una della tradizione e una più innovativa con materie prime sempre della zona.proprietario cortesissimo e competente prezzo assolutamente corrispondente alla qualità dei piatti...insomma assolutamente consigliato

Quarta volta in questo splendido locale. Poche volte tornando in un luogo lontano da casa vado in un ristorante dove sono già stata. Soprattutto nelle Langhe, dove si mangia bene più o meno dappertutto, preferisco curiosare e provare ogni volta posti nuovi. Pan Pist per me è un'eccezione, è il mio posto del cuore, dove non solo si mangia divinamente (qualità e attenzione al dettaglio sempre al top), ma dove l'accoglienza e la sincera simpatia di Ferruccio fanno la differenza. Il clima è sempre rilassato e mi sento come a casa.

20/08/2024: Excellent Piedmont cuisine and a good regional and national wine selection. Very rich breakfast by Italian standards. Functional hotel rooms, everything very clean and well maintained. Very nice location on the mountain with the namesake chapel.
24/07/2024: Group lunch with excellent dishes, I particularly liked the starters, the agnolotti with plin on the napkin and the nettle gnocchi. I advise.

20/11/2024: We got married on Sunday 8 September, a difficult day meteorologically speaking, yet the Vecchio Castagno fulfilled all our wishes! Between the beauty of the location, the attention to every little detail, the attention, the kindness of the staff and the beautiful "plan B", the rain literally took a back seat. We entrusted ourselves to Maria Grazia and Roberta knowing, from the first moment we met them, that we would be in excellent hands, they were impeccable, kind, helpful, unique!! The lovely place and the excellent and plentiful food, excellent quality/price! What can I say, we would like to get married again to relive all this ❤️ Simply thank you for making our day unique and unforgettable, we really couldn't ask for more!
12/11/2024: Fairytale wedding November 2024 We chose the Vecchio Castagno as the location for our wedding. From the first day we went to visit the estate and subsequently in testing the menu we found kindness, professionalism and excellent quality of the food. The availability of Mrs. Mariagrazia and Roberta struck us and therefore we chose to have our wedding there. On the wedding day everything was perfect, all the staff provided an excellent service and all the guests complimented the quality of the food and the beauty of the place. I would recommend this wonderful estate surrounded by greenery with an enchanting view to anyone.
