No written menus but plenty of character at this locals' favourite, where simple yet bold flavours are served by an all-female team. Three-course lunch for two with water and coffee is a paltry €40. Booking essential.

When in Castiglione, a fantastic rustic restaurant where you may eat even with low budget all the local dishes in a cozy and familiar atmosphere.Highly reccomended!! You need to try Sagne and formaggio arrostito!!!

Castiglione è proprio un bel paese e questo ristorante fa degustare il vero Abruzzo in tavola. Servizio eccellente e davvero ottimo e ben preparato il cibo.

Small but welcoming place, the quality of the raw materials is extraordinary. Exceptional first courses, generous portions, same for the second courses. The ravioli with mushrooms and truffles... mouth-watering! Try the spectacular lamb. All at a super price. Absolutely recommended!

28/07/2024: Nel verde , nei pressi di una caratteristica chiesetta, a 5 minuti da Fraine . Cucina tipica eccellente : antipasto con prodotti come la ventricina (fatta da loro ) squisito; chitarrina al ragù semplice e tagliatelle porcini e tartufo molto buoni; bistecca di livello e tagliata di manzo spettacolare; cheesecake deliziosa. Conti 36€. Serata allegra e cordiale come i proprietari e i camerieri. Consigliato vivamente!
