Beautiful location...very pleasant dishes

The food was very good. We ate very well. The only detail that bothered me was that we ordered an appetizer to share, and the waitress asked us if we wanted it on two plates. Without warning, we saw on the bill that they had charged us for splitting it. It was as if they had served us more food. They only put it on two plates. If they had, we would have served it ourselves. The desserts weren't worth anything. The atmosphere was very nice, and the service was friendly.

A very beautiful restaurant, the courtyard is stylishly decorated with attention to detail. Here, you won't notice the heat outside or even the onset of rain; it's a wonderful place to spend an evening with a book or in good company. The pizza is incredibly delicious, and the wine list is also highly recommended. The staff is attentive and extremely courteous, always professional yet warm.

A beautiful restaurant in the center of Vicenza, housed in a historic building. The interior garden is stunning and has a unique atmosphere. Delicious food and truly special pizza.

My pizza wasn't particularly good, and my wife's burger was also mediocre. The potatoes were soaked with oil.

So the restaurant looks very good, in an old palazzo, with a low key modern interior design. The service was good also (although they did forget to bring the water). The problem was the food. My girlfriend had pizza that was ok (nothing to remember though), but my pasta with truffles and duck was just tasteless. I literally had to add a lot of salt to just have some flavour. No truffle flavour, no duck flavour, a faint hint of butter and no salt whatsoever. Don't know if it was a mistake in the kitchen, but the food didn't fit the location. Would have been 1-2 stars if it hadn't been for the location.

We had a great time at this restaurant. A lovely courtyard, good service, and delicious dishes. It's a shame the rice seemed to be old-fashioned (it was completely dry). Other than that, the service was friendly, and we recommend this place for a break in Vicenza.
