Location ottima in via Libertà (Pa), locale carino e arredato con stile e gusto, andiamo alla parte corposa...il cibo divino si fanno notare: 1) fiori di zucca con ricotta e alici in tempura/pastella (top). 2) panini con ricotta, finocchietto e una mortadella dei Nebrodi (particolare) (top) 3) cous cous con ragù borbonico ( vacca cinisara) (top). Always kind and efficient. Good pizzas and equally good first courses. Very pleasant draft beers even if the variety on the menu is only apparent: we were told that many were finished. Reasonable price for what is consumed.

Pizza buona ma ho trovato il prezzo esagerato. Sarà che nel conto c'era il coperto che è veramente troppo. 3 € a persona per cenare su un tavolo di legno senza tovaglia di stoffa e con tovagliolo di carta.

12/06/2025: A restaurant on the outskirts of Cefalù, in my opinion definitely worth a visit, if you are not a fan of restaurants in the center which are more attracted by the ambience and sea view. Visited twice during our stay so far. We still have three evenings until the end of our vacation....

Trattoria Al Vecchio Club Rosanero

28/06/2025: For a truly local food experience this trattoria is perfect. It's away from all the tourist crowds. Some staff members don't speak English, but they try to help and ask their colleagues who do. I've used the app for translation but other team members were quick to help with a smile. Pasta dishes are superb, full of flavour. The option to order half a portion is simply brilliant. Regular size portions are large so be aware. Beef steak with cheese was also very tasty and tender. The value for money is much better than on the main street and the atmosphere is 100% real Palermo. The old photographs of Palermo are so interesting.
23/06/2025: Typical old-style trattoria dedicated to the Palermo football club. Excellent value for money, the best among the trattorias in Palermo that we tried. For the first courses you can choose between a half portion (60 grams) and a full portion (120 grams). The general menu lists all the specialties, really many, then inside the menu is proposed with the specialties available that day. We tried the grouper ravioli, the roasted swordfish and the sardine meatballs. We would have returned a second time but unfortunately we were unable to, I recommend checking the opening hours and booking.
