We happened upon Otium during a stay at Poetto Beach and were very pleasantly surprised. We had pasta with tomato sauce (the pasta was very fresh and delicious) and fries. The prices are really fair, and the service is friendly and attentive. We will be back.
Addendum: On busy days, you might not be able to get a table. It's best to reserve in advance.

Located at the entrance to Poetto Beach, near the Marina Piccola harbor, this is an excellent place to enjoy a pleasant break at any time of day, from breakfast until late evening. Ample parking is nearby.
Young and attentive staff, good food at reasonable prices.

Tough review: the octopus was exceptional, a full 5 stars, as was the tuna. The tuna caprese was delicious. The spaghetti with clams and bottarga would have been 10 stars if it hadn't been served so overcooked (a shame, because the quality of the sauce was remarkable). Zero stars for the courtesy (which didn't arrive): I was laughed at because I hadn't booked (four people), and it was free since the table was available. Given the prices, I would have paid for a little politeness, but it wasn't on the menu. What can I say? Given the quality of the food, I'll be back, but maybe on the day off of the person who "welcomed" me.

Consigliato da alcuni amici cagliaritani, ci hanno consigliato Otium dopo una bella passeggiata al Poetto.
La location è ottima in particolare nel dehor o all'aperto con vista mare. Il Menù ricco con svariate proposte usando il QR code al tavolo si può leggere il menu'. I camerieri sono stati professionali il coperto con tovagliati e tovaglioli di carta . Buona qualità del cibo ben presentato e cotto bene, abbiamo scelto due piatti di paccheri con l'astice.
Il prezzo 25 euro buon prezzo per questo piatto. Ottimo anche ill vino, un bianco fruttato proposto dal cameriere.
