Otani Sushi In Bergamo

Changed review.. from the last two times smell of fish entrance area, and a friend of mine and I were not well. Quality of fish lowered. Inside welcoming. It was the only one that I saved as all u can eat in Bergamo, now not anymore! Too bad because the service had improved a lot and they are nice and kind.

We also tried the dinner menu, trying different places, they have a little less choice, regarding sushi 8 pieces for one choice are too many because you don't have the possibility to taste the others, if they halved the portions it would be a great thing

I ate at this restaurant over the weekend. The price is above the average all you can eat (between cover charge and water you spend around 30 euros each to eat in the evening during the weekend), but the quality is very high. All the dishes I have had are excellent, even the first courses (prawn pappardelle and Yaki soba) and the second courses (grilled duck, grilled salmon). The staff is truly prepared and helpful. I highly recommend, with a few euros more than other restaurants you will have a great experience :)

good sushi experience overall, i’d recommend this place. the restaurant is elegant with a relaxed atmosphere. service was quick and the staff very attentive. the food was solid. if i had to be picky, the portion sizes were a bit too big. i wanted to try more sushi rolls but i got full way too fast. the rolls also had quite a thick layer of rice. the udon noodles were tasty, and the spring rolls were some of the best i’ve had, not too oily and packed with filling. surprisingly, the standout for me was the salad. super refreshing and bursting with flavor.

We ended up at Otani almost by chance, without a reservation, on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy but they quickly found us a table for 4 people. The service is very fast, the staff very courteous. The food is delicious, fresh and the menu (you order on a tablet) is extremely varied, with an infinite choice of dishes. The all you can eat formula allows you to eat until you burst. We'll be back
