Super cute little place in Favara, a small town in the Agrigento area a stone's throw from the Valley of the Temples! Excellent quality, kind and polite staff, friendly and super professional owner! Raw and cooked fish dishes prepared with care and dedication.

Twice in less than three days! They had always told me "very good" about Ostrea, but I had never been there. This summer, when we went to Agrigento for holidays, we had to organize a dinner with some guys from the North! We started asking around, because we wanted to "make a good impression" and more people recommended Ostrea to us! When we arrived at dinner, our table was already ready and we were welcomed with great kindness and warmth by the owner! A real out of class! He gave us the menus at our request, but in the end we left him "carte blanche"! He chose everything for us! We took 6 raw and cooked appetizers, a pleasure for the sight, but above all for the palate! Very fresh fish, the raw ones are truly top! The guys who were with us were really enthusiastic at the end "we made more than a good impression", I would say a success...!!! But that's not all!! After only 3 days we returned to bring some relatives who had never been there, because they were intrigued by our story! At our sight, the owner recognized us, almost surprised!! We immediately reassured him that we were there, only after 3 days, because we loved his cooking philosophy so much! What can I say? Even the encore dinner went great! This time we also took the first courses, spaghetti with clams and sea urchins! I can still taste it! We promised ourselves we would go again for the Christmas holidays, also to try the winter menu! Per caso ci siamo imbattute in un delizioso locale in centro Favara ,Ostrea e dopo aver provato le loro specialità siamo impazzite sia per il loro pesce crudo che cotto , per la pasta con i ricci e altro. A questo si aggiunge la cortesia e professionalità del Proprietario dello chef e del personale di sala. Consigliatissimo a tutti!
