Based on the reviews I have read I was expecting really better: pasta was overcooked, fish stake was simple…. At the end we paid really way higher than expected… hope to give another try, but have to say I am very disappointed

A very nice local restaurant above Trieste. Friendly staff and atmosphere. The food is diverse and tasty, especially the local specialties. It is located on a hill and offers a beautiful view of the sea and the city.

Amazing local restaurant where me and my family come at least twice a year. The fish is fresh and genuinely very good, the atmosphere is cozy and all the waiters, including the owner, are kind and hardworking. Highly recommended, and the view from here is amazing.

Siamo stati ospiti in occasione della manifestazione "sapori del carso". Ottima esperienza sia per i cibi proposti, molto curati e buoni, sia per la posizione molto panoramica, con vista magnifica dai tavolini nel bel giardino. Tutto a base di pesce, accompagnato da un buon bicchiere di Malvasia.

04/02/2025: Nice small but welcoming and original place, seaside and Neapolitan atmosphere, delicious Neapolitan pizza, very light, not bloated and doesn't make you thirsty. Excellent dough and excellent filling.. good and kind managers and staff.. quick service! 100% recommended

Pizzeria Assaje - Trieste

26/01/2025: Ordered arancini with sausage and mushrooms over the pizza. Excellent, beautiful, tasty; perfectly crispy, the bite scratches as it should.
23/01/2025: A great place with delicious coffee and tiramisu (both pistachio and classic). Friendly staff, very helpful, knowledgeable of English. I recommend, I spent a very nice time here on a delicious meal!
