Based on the reviews I have read I was expecting really better: pasta was overcooked, fish stake was simple…. At the end we paid really way higher than expected… hope to give another try, but have to say I am very disappointed

A very nice local restaurant above Trieste. Friendly staff and atmosphere. The food is diverse and tasty, especially the local specialties. It is located on a hill and offers a beautiful view of the sea and the city.

08/02/2025: I returned after 3 years and noticed that the quality remained intact! Informal atmosphere, menu recited verbally, but no negative surprises in the bill, very honest. Few dishes of excellent workmanship and quality, if you are looking for a place with typical Trieste cuisine, a little outside the classic circuits, this is the right place. Cozy and super characteristic location, attentive and helpful service. I will return, perhaps more frequently.
