Osteria Volturno In Piombino

We stopped at this restaurant after a stroll through the center of Piombino. We had a wonderful meal in a tastefully decorated, clean setting, with friendly, helpful owners. If you're passing through Piombino, it's a must-see. Highly recommended.

The staff is competent, and any oversights are more than forgiven by the safety and management skills. In short, they're professional and highly competent in the context offered. The food is very good, fresh fish cooked well—my compliments, truly. As for the prices, they're more than fair. The kitchen and dining room are truly well-aligned.

I came here for lunch with my boyfriend and I can say that the dishes on the menu were delicious and very unique. We ordered two starters and two side dishes. Everything was delicious. Not to mention the staff, who were welcoming and warm from the start. Highly recommended!

The seafood risotto was delicious, but what I absolutely loved was the fried food. It's been years since I've eaten such good fried food. My compliments, indeed.

This unassuming restaurant in Piombino's pedestrian zone is worth a visit. On the day of our visit, the menu consisted exclusively of seafood, and what else could you want on the coast? The Risotto Mariana was a generous portion, very tasty, and very well prepared.

Con una bambina di 16 mesi ci organizzavamo di giorno in giorno ma nonostante l'ora tarda hanno ugualmente trovato un tavolo per noi. Eravamo un po' titubanti viste le recensioni sulla cortesia del personale e le porzioni ma la serata ci ha fatti ricredere. Quello trovato è un ambiente a gestione famigliare e di conseguenza un ambiente quotidiano e di famiglia. È così che ci siamo sentiti. Abbiamo mangiato dell'ottimo pesce, fresco, con delle porzioni di tutto rispetto, abbiamo chiacchierato con la titolare e la figlia Alice che hanno anche intrattenuto la nostra bimba per gran parte della serata, permettendoci di mangiare con calma! Il fritto misto era spaziale, ci è sembrato di mangiare del burro talmente il pesce era morbido. Prezzo corrisponde alla qualità di ciò che abbiamo mangiato. Assolutamente consigliato. Forse non adatto a chi ha la puzza sotto il naso.
