Excellent osteria if you want to savor typical local dishes. Excellent food and affordable prices. The staff is very knowledgeable about the local culture, always ready to share the history of each dish. The place is welcoming and well-located near the city center. I'll be back.

I visited Vicenza with my family. I was looking for a welcoming, family-friendly place with traditional dishes. At this osteria, I found everything and more. A wonderful welcome. The owner conveyed the essence of this traditional cuisine to us, describing the dishes and her personal experience with great passion. Highly recommended. I loved the baccalà alla vicentina (order the trio, they're all worth a try) and the dolce de la putana, with its fantastic story.

We came across it on a recommendation from The Fork but the atmosphere is pleasantly vintage but the food is excellent and the cost is relatively low in relation to the quality.

L'Osteria Vicolo Santa Barbara, situata in pieno centro a Vicenza, conserva lo spirito autentico delle osterie di una volta. I proprietari sono persone gentili, pronte a raccontare con passione e preparazione i piatti del menù, tutti appartenenti alla tradizione veneta e vicentina. Abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato il baccalà alla vicentina e l'ampia scelta di dolci della tradizione. Grande attenzione a ingredienti del territorio, con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Al termine del pasto, nonostante avessimo già oltrepassato l'orario di chiusura, i proprietari ci hanno aspettato e si sono fermati a parlare con noi con grande simpatia. Assolutamente consigliato!

Osteria/trattoria a stone's throw from the Basilica Palladiana, where you can breathe the air of the past. Ideal for both meals and an aperitif with the legendary "spunciotti". When I've been in the center of Vicenza for 20 years now, a stop is a must!

Two of us had dinner on a Friday evening in Vicenza, a restaurant we found online but it was a pleasant discovery! Family-run place, everyone was very kind, the owner in particular gave us lots of advice and was able to explain the various Venetian dishes with real passion and in detail. The food as well as the menu is quite simple but fewer dishes and done well are better! We will definitely be back. See you soon!
