We chose to go because it was in a neutral location to meet up with family from Argentina who were also visiting Florence, and it was a great choice: in a beautifully decorated setting, we ate a delicious pizza

Today I was at Vecchio Vicolo again. I often return with family or friends, and I absolutely agree with the following review I wrote two years ago:
After visiting Vecchio Vicolo for the umpteenth time, I feel compelled to write this review. I've always believed that a restaurant's quality is measured by its consistency over time. Well, I can say that the quality of the food, service, and ambiance is absolutely top-notch. It's my favorite place in Florence, and I always return. Both the fish and meat dishes are excellent. The first courses are fantastic. The owner, Caterina, always does her best to make us feel comfortable and at ease, and always finds a way to accommodate our two-year-old daughter. Definitely worth a try.

A welcoming place with a family atmosphere. Caterina and Luigi are wonderful hosts, and the entire staff is extremely helpful and attentive to their guests' needs. The dishes are excellent, whatever the selection, using top-quality ingredients, and the menu is always full of new options. I would recommend it for a dinner for two, with family, or with friends. Even the little ones feel at home. A rare gem in the historic center of Florence.

The food is nice, cocktails are superb. But the arabic staff is somewhat sad, I hope the italian lady boss treat them well.
Delicious food, great atmosphere and service. Loved our dishes and would def. recommend :)

Absolutely amazing! Lobster pasta was so good that we didn’t even know to prioritize lobster or the pasta itself. Great staff as well!
