Beautiful food and wine trip. Amazing panzanella Poorly cut with white duck sauce: a gustatory journey accompanied by a nice glass of Chianti Montalbano, perfect. All this, with the story of the waiter who counts you and tells in an epic way what you will discover. Super honest prices. I recommend!

Cozy restaurant, with an old-fashioned style. Unfortunately, however, I was not satisfied with the food: starters of cured meats and crostini were normal; I didn't like the first, truffle gnocchi, while the wild boar pappardelle was very, very good. For the second course we took a cut, which was also not good at all: it remained very "mushy" and not very tasty. The accompanying wines were good. A plus point was certainly the service: quick, impeccable and attentive to the smallest details. We were not very happy with the price, perhaps a little too high...

Simply wonderful, the staff is super welcoming, wonderful food, fair prices for 4 people who ate and drank from hydrovore. What can I say, I absolutely recommend it. Until next time!

historic restaurant in Viareggio, very close to the motorway exit. particular venue located in a farmhouse converted into a restaurant. good location, excellent typical Tuscan food. Recommended mixed starter to start, followed by traditional Tuscan first courses. The meat was also excellent. All at a fair price. Friendly staff.

30/05/2025: Interesting dishes, intense flavours, historic place... We chose Cinghiale, Peposo and an excellent risotto =^.^=
27/05/2025: Local styled food with very average service and so lala Ambiente at the tables outside. Even the restaurant was not crowded when we were there, the service was very late and not sorted. It’s probably too close to the Central attractions to be authentic.

02/05/2025: Restaurant with over 250 years of history, still owned by the same family, with very knowledgeable and kind staff. Excellent food, especially traditional Garfagnana and Tuscan cuisine. I recommend the appetizer and leaving room for the dessert, the portions are generous and among the dishes on offer you are spoiled for choice. The furnishings are typical of the area and tell the long history of the place. Too bad it's difficult to find parking.
