Excellent food, from local producers, typical of the region and different to what you would find in a more central/touristic place. Service was also good! The antipasti were varied and genuine, as were the agnoletti con brasato (the pasta was so fresh and soft), the pork fillet with Gorgonzola sauce was simply exquisite. The panna cotta alla nocciola was to die for. Would recommend over and over again!

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on Sunday, without a reservation, after visiting the nearby "La Torbiera" wildlife park. The waiter promptly prepared a table for us and seated us. The atmosphere is simple, tidy, and clean. The menu offers traditional and interesting dishes that proved to be excellent both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the preparation.

We had lunch here on a spring Sunday with two friends. The food was excellent, the service good, and the owner was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed everything, and our friends were very satisfied. Recommended.

31/10/2025: Nice place, only frequented the restaurant, twice, excellent service, very select cuisine and wine cellar.
27/09/2025: A discovery! A charming place and delicious cuisine with excellent ingredients! The staff were very kind and attentive to their customers. We appreciated the chef's visit, who came to personally ask if we liked the food. Excellent pumpkin risotto and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The dessert featured unusual but delightful combinations. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful. And what can we say about the view of Lake Orta? We'll definitely be back! Congratulations!

La Locanda Del Buon Riso

10/01/2026: Excellent pizza, with a few carefully prepared dishes. Attentive service, and they accommodated our needs when my wife was pregnant. Four stars because we tried calling twice (during business hours) and they didn't answer. In the end, we went anyway and it was open—so much the better!
07/01/2026: Excellent pizza, good dough, good and fresh ingredients, very kind staff, the only thing that the drinks are super expensive.
