Great atmosphere, friendly service, and the staff pamper you as they explain the dishes. The appetizers are amazing, creative, and refined, yet respectful of tradition. The first courses are in line with the appetizers. The price is in line with the dishes and the atmosphere. I can't wait to return.

Outstanding gem in San Michele Salentino. The owner was welcoming and gracious. We started with the fava bean antipasti. It was flavorful with roasted shishito peppers, carrots, and other greens (broccolini?). You must try the spaghetti that is lit on fire. There is an entire story behind this dish and the mix of hot pepper, garlic, and olive oil gives this dish an amazing OMG when you taste it. It is not so hot it burns your mouth so don’t worry… it is delicious!!! The fire creates an extra element of taste and the theatrics are a plus. The steak, local beef, was delicious, tender, and flavorful. The sauce (or gravy depending on where you grew up), was warming and reminded me of home cooked meals. Delicious! The mixed salad helped cleanse the palate. Note that the portions were VERY generous so it was good value for money. That is from a person who would rather spend more money on a small great meal than less on a big meal that is filling but lacks quality and flavor. This place hit a home run with me. Good service, hospitable staff, white tablecloth decor, great job done by all. We will come back when possible. Thank you! Don’t forget dessert. We had the bon bons with whipped cream. Perfect close!!!

We hade a very fine evening with the whole family. Excellent Italian Food and very friendly service. Highly recommend to have dinner there. Recommend to try all courses for the whole experience!

This restaurant is worth every trip! The food is an extraordinary taste experience, combining traditional Italian cuisine with new interpretations by the talented chef. The service is excellent and skillfully bridges language barriers. Order the Pasta Assassina!

Very interesting little place... I arrived here without great expectations, but I found a place with incredible attention to taste and detail. My girlfriend and I ordered the six-course mixed antipasto platter, and the taste and the attention to flavor contrasts in each appetizer were incredible. The first courses were also truly excellent and sophisticated, finishing with a classic dessert, tiramisu—a truly delicious tiramisu. What's most impressive is the incredibly competitive price, dishes crafted with a flair that's reminiscent of even renowned restaurants with some national/international recognition. However, six appetizers, two first courses, one dessert, water, and a cover charge for two came to barely €50... I'll definitely return, a little gem in a "lost" village. The only flaw is that I realize this isn't the kind of place for large groups. The place is cute and themed, but quite small, and in my opinion, incapable of handling tables of 12-13 people, but obviously, that's not their intention. Really satisfied, 5 well-deserved stars.
