Osteria Taviani In Bientina

A very romantic restaurant with just a few tables in a historic villa in Bientina. A husband and wife team run the place. She serves impeccable, attentive service, always with a smile. He's in the kitchen, preparing incredible dishes. The menu changes and focuses primarily on meat and game, cooked with incredible finesse. A special mention goes to the reinterpretation of the "typical liver crostini," which is truly exceptional. It's become one of my all-time favorite dishes! (And I don't like livers!). Excellent wine list with a very fair markup. We've already been back and will be back again! Highly recommended.
