A true, unfiltered experience.
At Osteria Tananai, you walk in and immediately feel at home. There's no written menu here: they tell you the story verbally, with that passion that lets you know you're in the right place. Each dish is a little Brescian story—strong, authentic flavors, prepared as they once were.
Owner Anna is tough and pure, like her cuisine: sincere, frank, and full of soul. I recommend you visit if you truly want to taste the authentic Brescia, the kind of dishes you can't find anywhere else. Don't expect the usual "everyday" fare, but let yourself be surprised by a genuine experience, steeped in tradition, character, and authenticity.

2012 December: Everything was excellent: the staff were friendly, the cuisine was authentic and excellent, a visit to this delightful and welcoming corner of Brescia is absolutely not to be missed.

Delicious, well-prepared traditional dishes in a rustic, informal atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease.
The ladies are exquisite and unique...even the waitress is very kind...they're all truly very friendly.
It's worth a visit...highly recommended!

A typical Brescian restaurant with a welcoming, family atmosphere. The menu is explained by the owner, who knows how to advise you. Excellent food and prices!

The atmosphere is truly beautiful and well-maintained. The cuisine is typical of Brescia. The portions aren't particularly generous, which makes the price a bit unfair. The dishes were excellent, and you could taste the freshness. Unfortunately, like all places in the center of Brescia, there's no parking nearby. The closest parking lots are Randaccio or Fossa Bagni, which obviously require a fee.

We went to this restaurant because the others were full. It was empty, and the waitresses weren't very friendly.
We ended up paying €17 per person, with €3 cutlery, for a primo piatto, which is expensive considering the quantity.
The dishes are good, but salty.
