A tourist spot. Prices are high, and the food quality is barely adequate. The service leaves much to be desired, as one waitress made disrespectful comments. The sea urchin linguine was indistinguishable from the one made with canned sea urchin; the cod polpetto was potato croquettes with only a hint of cod; and the Carlofortina pie was neither good nor bad. The seada, however, was fine, despite being lightly filled.

Osteria Tabarchina has become a consolidated tradition for seafood in Cagliari. Located right in the city center, this restaurant offers traditional Carlofortian cuisine with some reinterpretations that will make you want more. The staff is always ready and attentive, and the place is very charming, where you rediscover memories of times gone by. Lele, always a gentleman, is a wonderful owner. The price/quality ratio is excellent. Congratulations. See you next time!

A point of reference in the city if you want to enjoy good fresh tuna and the classic Carlofortina cuisine "Tabarkina". .. kind, helpful staff and a lot of professionalism from the manager Raffaele.

10/01/2026: Family lunch. The restaurant also offers outdoor seating, but given the cold temperatures, we sat inside. In my opinion, the place is dimly lit inside. The wait time is a bit long. The staff is friendly, and the prices are a bit above average. Typical Roman cuisine. The supplì, artichokes alla giudia, and zucchini flowers are excellent. The carbonara was decent, but too creamy for my taste buds. Not up to the standards of a carbonara I've had in Rome. My first experience here, but it was still decent.
03/01/2026: The restaurant has very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I personally ordered a carbonara, various supplí, and the tiramisu, all very good. I recommend the experience.
