Absolutely worth trying. Every time we return to Cagliari, a visit to the Tabarchina tavern is worth the trip.
The prawns in filo pastry are delicious as is the tuna caprese. Obviously the specialty of the menu is the constant presence of Carloforte tuna, an Italian but even more Sardinian excellence.
Quality and goodness come together in a single ingredient which alone makes any dish superb.
To return as always with great pleasure.

We returned to eat 1 year later because we already had a pleasant memory. Everything perfect! Friendly and attentive staff, excellent food with generous portions and excellent quality/price ratio!
I recommend it for both lunch and dinner!

There were six of us, we entrusted ourselves to the waiter, a generous round of starters, all very good, and for the second course, tuna in a pistachio crust and tuna in a sesame crust, excellent, plus a very abundant mixed fry, crunchy and dry, perfect. I would have liked the canestrello with moscato but it just wasn't there. With various bottles of water, one of Semidano di Mogoro, some coffee and some bitters, €40 each. Appropriate bill for what you ate. Simple but nice place, friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommended restaurant. Unfortunately I was hungry and forgot to take photos to attach to the review.
