I had lunch at Simon Boccanegra with my parents on a Sunday in October. This restaurant, located in the center of Sarzana, offers a menu featuring focaccia and seafood dishes. The service is friendly and quick, perfect for those looking for a quick meal without sacrificing quality. The seafood main courses are excellent (especially the stuffed calamari), as are the focaccia. Prices are average.

A lovely restaurant with a well-organized menu. The decor is modern yet distinctly Italian. We arrived early, so there was still plenty of room for a table, but the place quickly filled up around 8 p.m. Understandably, because the food is truly delicious. Pure flavor in all its simplicity. It's also a bit more expensive than your average family restaurant.
The service was less friendly than we're used to. Very measured, with little attention to the guests.

A nice mixed cheese platter... Good... As was the beer, and the bread, butter, and anchovies... It made me feel like a boy again... Thanks... I'll definitely be back if I pass by those parts.. 👍

Even though we hadn't booked, the lady welcomed us with extraordinary kindness. Amazing focaccia and bread, and delicious testaroli. A very quaint and welcoming place. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back!
