A very beautiful location where, however, the arrangement of the tables in the central room penalizes the diners: the kitchen door that opens and closes, the toilet, the entrance door open onto the terrace. Sin. Average service with little attention and without changing cutlery. I would say that for the amount I paid... Nothing to say about the food and the quality of the cuisine. Everything excellent.

Interesting location, not very convenient for parking as it is in a pedestrian area. Excellent service, good quality, limited servings (anchovy appetizer served in a can.....)
good variety of focaccias, slightly expensive but you also pay for being in the centre.

Wine list: exciting and well representative of the best national excellences.
Desserts: alone they would be worth a "trip out of town".

The tired walls of the manor oppose the restlessness of time and like an iron coat they arm themselves to defend the identity of the bulwark located on the border between history and mystery. Their magnanimity allows me to navigate narrow, winding alleys. His vassals, faithful in character to the Ligurian reluctance towards foreigners, hide their banners. Making my way into the soft belly of culinary tradition I discover flavors and smells handed down for generations. The once poor food becomes rich by birth and the castle's treasure is transformed into focaccias, stools, pesto and so on. A throne room was created in a street adjacent to the center. There men and women transform themselves into infantrymen and fairies to forge long-forgotten dishes onto the plates. The focaccia burnt by too much love melts in front of the fresh cheese while the lard grown in the marble seeks space among the taste buds of the travellers. Once the delicious meal is over, I wake up in the alleys which, as usual, push you to exit space and time. The guest is over and I leave exhausted, preserving an indelible memory beyond my borders. What can I say... a gem that I should have discovered sooner!
My partner and I spent a wonderful evening, everything was perfect, starting from the impeccable service to the excellent food, we also had the opportunity to taste the focaccia and bread they produce accompanied by some fabulous cured meats, their cheek which it melts in the mouth and we didn't even miss the dessert which is an experience, I danced while eating from the starter to the dessert.
So family run that it feels like home, this place makes you happy, definitely my new favorite place!

Beautiful place in the historic center of Sarzana with excellent cuisine, both traditional and creative, with a very good quality/price ratio. Focaccias of all types with very good combinations, the quality of the raw materials is fantastic. I point out the bread, something special to lick your lips. Price for two people, focaccia, caesar salad, water, beer and coffee 34 euros. For the quality more than honest.

Very good dishes, perhaps a little too expensive but you pay for the quality.
A serious downside is the service: the waiters are on you in a frenetic manner, both to order and to collect the finished dishes. All this creates a "tense" and decidedly unpleasant atmosphere that ruins the overall dinner experience.

We were in Tuscany on motorbike, exceptional value for money, everything excellent, very good cured meats. But what we liked most was that for my wife who is celiac they managed to do everything from starter to dessert. Truly compliments, it's like being at home

Un soir de marché nocturne à Sarzana, nous avons eu de la chance d'y trouver une table pour quatre adultes peu après 22h.
Une assiette de fromages et charcuteries à partager, deux gnocchi et deux testaroli, trois bouteilles d'eau, une carafe de vin et quatre cafés, le tout pour 81€.
Un repas très agréable bien que dans une rue très passante en cette haute saison. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent.

Locale molto carino, servizio un po’ sui generis. Focaccette valide, anche i primi molto buoni seppur le porzioni un po’ ridotte, comunque di qualità. Conto un po’ sopra la media
