Tavern with a retro style and genuine, homemade cuisine. They prepared lasagna with meat sauce and a stew with chestnuts and polenta to lick your lips and ask for an encore (which we did) all accompanied by the house red wine. We had a really good time and the managers are excellent people, without forgetting the skill and kindness of the guys who serve. I highly recommend Osteria Santo Stefano!! P.S. the pizza is made in a wood oven and is delicious

Found place for a tennis tournament... clean, genuine, excellent food, impeccable service, clean bathrooms... kindness at the top... we will be back

Very welcoming place with helpful and not at all intrusive staff, very friendly owner and you can see that he cares about the customer. Menu not too varied and perhaps it could be a strong point since the food was truly delicious. The wine list, however, is very varied. Highly recommended

07/03/2025: While passing through Tortona we chose the place based on the reviews we had read. The first courses are good and the pork fillet with blueberry sauce is good and the sweet bonet with peaches in syrup is good. The Milanese cutlet with the pork bone is decidedly insufficient: large but raw in the center at the highest part and therefore uneatable, as are the baked potatoes, small and burnt. I had the unpleasant feeling, perhaps I'm wrong, that it was a dish that wasn't fresh and had been microwaved because the dish continued to burn for a long time. Bonarda move in an excellent bottle. Attentive and very present staff.
27/02/2025: Quite a classic place in terms of decor but the food is really good. The staff were courteous and quick in serving the food. I recommend it

Agriturismo Castello

17/11/2024: Pranzo della domenica con un gruppo di amici. Il castello propone salumi e formaggi della zona (alcuni prodotti in casa da loro), prodotti bio che seguono la stagionalità, primi piatti fatti in casa e anche cacciagione. Il servizio e la sala sono decisamente informali in linea con lo spirito di un vero agriturismo. Il personale è gentilissimo e asseconda il cliente donandogli un'esperienza godibile da tutti i punti di vista. Vale veramente la pena venire su dalla collina che la struttura domina. Da oggi di diritto tra i miei ristoranti preferiti.
06/10/2024: Excellent dinner with simple dishes but made with care and high quality raw materials. Good quality bulk wines that don't make you regret the bottled ones. Gianni is an excellent host who knows how to put guests at ease. Great value for money and overall a farmhouse to definitely recommend.
