We had lunch at Osteria San Marco and were truly satisfied. We recommend it for anyone looking for excellent traditional Venetian cuisine. The mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses was a perfect start, rich and tasty, while the Angus beef was truly special. We then chose the bigoli with porcini mushrooms, very flavorful, and the tripe, served in a more than generous portion. To finish, the tiramisu. It tasted clearly homemade, very good, and beautifully plated in its ceramic bowl. The wines were also excellent, pairing well with the aperitif and the meal. The young and friendly staff exude a warmth you wouldn't expect to find in an osteria. Overall, a very positive experience.
