Excellent place, the quality of the products used is very high. The staff is courteous and helpful. Excellent service. Reservations are strongly recommended (especially for weekends) I will definitely be back!

Yesterday I celebrated my birthday at Osteria San Giulio. We were assigned a private, intimate and welcoming room with a splendid view of the surrounding countryside. Excellent food and wines, as always, but above all a lot of attention to our every need. Thank you!

A real tavern! Here you eat and savor memories of the past. A cuisine like my grandmother made but with an eye to the current period. From the cold cuts, to the first courses and the second courses, nothing to say. A piece of advice, ask for advice because the portions are really generous and it's a shame to waste food. A place where you can breathe time that has stopped! Really welcoming and charming.

Historic restaurant in the hamlet of Badia. The environment, authentic and evocative, takes you back in time. The menu offers typical dishes of the Novara tradition. Particularly noteworthy are the cured meats, with a special mention for fidighina and duja. The risotto and paniscia also stand out for their quality and flavour. Good selection of local wines.

All very good starting from the starters. The fantastic desserts especially the creme brulee… Recommended..

Perfect typical Novara/Piedmontese trattoria. A little out of the way but once you reach it it is very nice and well organised. Excellent first courses and typical appetizers, but also desserts. I recommend booking. Excellent quality and good service.

Una delle migliori osterie della mia vita. Il posto è incantato, i locali simpatici. Il servizio eccellente. Antipasti eccezionali. Primi grandiosi. Dolci buonissimi. L'unica pecca? Porzioni troppo abbondanti, che impediscono di gustare tutto quello che attrae. Da ritornarci, dopo 48 ore di digiuno.

There's little to say about this place, you eat well, you spend the right amount and it's also a nice environment! The owner is really nice and kind! I recommend the starter, full of flavours, all of excellent quality! We'll be back!

"POSTO ACCOGLIENTE" Circondato da campi prevalentemente dedicati alla raccolta del riso, a pochi km dal Comune di Bellinzago Novarese, si trova questa accogliente Osteria che si ripromette di preservare e conservare la Tradizione della cucina casalinga che, come dice la destinazione, tendevano i piatti una festa per la gola. Onestamente confermo in pieno quanto dicono e consiglio vivamente. La tipologia del luogo va intesa, oltre che come necessità di ristoro anche come momento di aggregazione e convivialità, abbandonando la fretta tipica delle grandi città con la quiete e tranquilla anima dei Borghi agricoli. Il cibo è cucinato al momento e segue la tradizione Novarese che rispecchia i sapori con prodotti del luogo. Tutto risulta apprezzabile grazie alla maestria della cuoca e di tutta la cucina che rende l'esperienza molto simile a quella casalinga dei giorni di Festa. Personale presente, gentile e ben preparato ha saputo ridurre i tempi di attesa tra le varie portate. I tempi sono comunque dettati anche dalla preparazione al momento dei piatti, alcuni dei quali, tipo la Paniscia, che richiedono tempistiche più lunghe. Qualità prezzo, Quantità e Qualità che trovano il maggior compromesso possibile. Ci siamo trovati veramente bene e garantisco di essermi alzato da tavola soddisfatto e sazio, cosa poi non proprio scontata al giorno d'oggi. Il locale si trova all'interno di una vecchia Badia del XII Secolo, passata dalle mani dei monaci che la trasformarono in comunità religiosa, agricola ed infine residenziale per Vitaliano VIII Borromeo. La sua Storia si può trovare facilmente anche sulle varie tabelle storiche che si trovano in loco. Bella esperienza da rifare assaggiando anche tutti gli altri prodotti. I gusti sono gusti ma la qualità è innegabile. Bravi e onesti.
