Extraordinary experience, everything was perfect. The boiled eggplants with garlic and vinegar as a starter are a revelation in the same way as the gramigna with local vinegar. The tomato and burrata pasta is a triumph of simplicity and precision. The terrace is extremely pleasant. Fast service and good advice. For dessert, the zabaoine is also perfectly executed, in short, nothing to say and great value for money!
Special mention for the very beautiful tableware. :)

Locale piccolo ma ben curato.
Cibo molto buono.
Unica nota stonata il servizio. Neanche il tempo di finire che già ti tolgono il piatto (senza darti il tempo di finire la scarpetta!!) e ci siamo rimasti male per un commento non appropriato verso una ragazza che non ha voluto il dolce. Glielo abbiamo fatto notare e abbiamo capito che manco sapeva di cosa si stava parlando

Osteria Ruggera is always a guarantee of quality! A little gem of a place, intimate and well-kept, with a magical atmosphere!! The cuisine is exceptional and their Sicilian dishes are all sublime, you can feel the authenticity and high quality just like the cuisine of the past. I have known this restaurant for more than thirty years and coming back every time is a real pleasure! I thank Mrs. Anna for the kindness and warm welcome she always gives us. Everything excellent in an inimitable location!!! Super recommended.

L’Osteria Ruggera è sempre una garanzia di qualità!
Un gioiellino di locale, intimo e curato, dall’atmosfera magica!!
La cucina è eccezionale e le loro pietanze siciliane tutte sublimi, si sente la genuinità e la grande qualità proprio com’era la cucina di una volta.
Conosco questo ristorante da più di trent’anni e tornarci è, ogni volta, un vero e proprio piacere!
Ringrazio la Signora Anna delle premure e della calorosa accoglienza che ci riserva sempre.
Tutto eccellente in una location inimitabile!!!

Rude waiters. When we hadn't asked for water, it was automatically delivered....
Plus the dishes are taken away immediately as long as you leave them next to the table
The cheese that a waitress brought us
After two seconds another waiter comes to clear the table and takes away the cheese,
When we asked for dessert and I was finishing eating 2 bites the waitress
He says I have to finish eating these 2 bites first because he won't bring me the dessert,
And when they ordered the starter
And he came to us and explained that some things had to be eaten immediately because they were hot..
After 2 seconds he turns around and says. : you have to eat them, I can still see them on your plate...
However the food was good...
