Beautiful food and wine and human experience, in the heart of Modena, with lots of Sicily inside. From the appetizers with many delights including caponata and arancini, to the first course (orecchiete alla norma and spaghetti alla sardines) and a second course of meat (roasted rabbit and baked potatoes and cutlet with rocket and cherry tomatoes). All delicious, well-finished, harmonious and light. Excellent wine list. Mrs. Anna was splendid and helpful, telling us about the flavors of her Sicily and entertaining us with pleasant conversations about music and life and Mr. Massimo, kind and quiet, made sure that our table was always perfect. Then, the candle (requested to celebrate my husband's birthday) on a slice of chocolate and almond cake with eggnog cream, accompanied by an excellent Malvasia, was a perfect conclusion. It is not low cost, but, after all, the prices are transparent and the quality is decidedly high. We are from Modena and had never been there. We will be back. Highly recommended. (Small non-gastronomic note: as Boss fans that we are, dining with his music in the background is truly priceless!)
