Osteria la Foglietta is a typical Roman osteria where you can enjoy traditional Roman cuisine. The place isn't very large, but the tables are arranged to allow both staff and customers plenty of room. The decor is rustic but not overwhelming; in fact, it gave me a sense of a relaxed, family atmosphere. The food was simple but well-prepared (I had eggplant parmigiana and amatriciana, and my wife had a platter of chicken with peppers). I personally enjoyed the parmigiana, and the amatriciana was good, but the guanciale was sliced too thinly and barely tasted. Overall, it wasn't a bad dish. The chicken with peppers was well-done, and the charcuterie platter was made with good-quality ingredients. The staff who served us was attentive and punctual, and the price was more than fair.

Excellent Roman osteria. Delicious, generous dishes. I recommend the bucatini all'Amatriciana, the tripe, the lamb chops, and the summer gricia. The steaks are very good, and the sautéed chicory is truly amazing.
The desserts are all excellent. I recommend the peach melba with cream or simply peaches in wine.
I'll be back!

Superb and authentic.
The food is very good: the best truffle pasta of my trip.
The house wine is good.
I don't know about dinner, but at lunchtime, it's a restaurant with a fairly relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere (with regulars). The service is pleasant and efficient.
It's 5-star throughout. Just one thing to add: Try this osteria; you won't be disappointed.

EXCELLENT Roman osteria, EXCELLENT food, EXCELLENT service, Very clean and welcoming environment although unfortunately not very large therefore I strongly recommend booking. I conclude with another EXCELLENT in reference to the bill.
If you want to eat well you can't not take it into consideration, you can find it in the San Giovanni area.

Sono stata per la prima volta a La Foglietta, su consiglio di amici e parenti che vivono a Roma, e devo dire che è stata una scoperta davvero piacevole! Abbiamo pranzato in compagnia di amici e l’atmosfera era perfetta per gustare dell’ottimo cibo in un clima rilassato e conviviale.
La Foglietta è una vera osteria tipica romana, con una location autentica e accogliente che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Il menù propone piatti della tradizione, ma con attenzione anche alle esigenze alimentari: ottime le alternative senza glutine, perfette per chi ha intolleranze o preferisce evitarlo.
La carbonara? Semplicemente spettacolare! Cremosa, saporita e fatta come si deve. Anche l’amatriciana è stata impeccabile, con un equilibrio di sapori che conquista fin dal primo boccone.
Il vero valore aggiunto è stato il cameriere, Giordano: attento, simpatico, e con una capacità unica di mettere a proprio agio. Ci ha intrattenuto con qualche aneddoto divertente e ci ha saputo consigliare al meglio su cosa ordinare.
Cibo eccellente, servizio impeccabile, atmosfera calda e accogliente. Un’esperienza da ripetere. Consigliatissima!

Antipasto buono, carbonara discreta, abbacchio a scottadito mal eseguito (in particolare, carne bruciacchiata e troppo poco cotta in vari punti), patate alla brace mediocri. Il servizio è stato eccellente, ma, considerata l'esperienza complessiva, non credo che ci tornerei.
