Finally a real Roman restaurant in ROME! Bill Clinton, George Clooney, etc etc came to eat here. It's super good. The server is super nice. The atmosphere is friendly. It's really authentic with the charcoal heating right next to the table. The discovery of the underground places truly reflects the age of the establishment. The restaurant has an incredible history. The lobster pasta is delicious. But what about the lamb, the sauce is succulent!! Small welcome cup offered. A little downside on the tiramisu which was bland. The grappa is super good. THANKS. No muy lejos de la atracción de los turistas y los lugares de pasta ordinaria es esta ostería italiana clásica. La comida era excelente: ñoquis ligeros como el aire y cordero cocinados durante horas. El servicio sincero, el ambiente muy cómodo. Era enero y la habitación estaba calentada por un brasero en medio del piso. Los precios del vino eran iguales a una enoteca. Nuestros camareros se aseguraron de que nos sintiéramos completamente parte de su mundo. Grazie mille per una notte bellisima.

Very nice authentic Italian restaurant

Very nice and welcoming typical Roman restaurant, delicious food and well-trained waiters. I'm from Veneto, I came with 2 friends to the New Year's Eve dinner and I must say that we had a great time. The owner Elisabetta is very nice and open to everyone. Ps: my rating 10 goes above all to Tati, a beautiful woman😜

A superb discovery. This restaurant was recommended to us by the staff of the hotel where we stayed. If its location is not particularly attractive, the welcome, the quality of the dishes served and as a bonus the little tour of the cellar as well as its history allowed us to have a very pleasant experience!

Absolutely charming, family run establishment! If you’re lucky, a staff member might give you a tour of the basement and show you the satisfied former customer celebrity photo album!

Delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, and very kind owners. I had the Roman course menu and every plate was delicious and full of food. The restaurant is covered in beautiful art and the owners were very attentive of my needs, even providing a free glass of champagne and telling me about the history of their restaurant. Highly recommend for a soul-warming dining experience.

We had an amazing dinner . They make you feel like family and the food was incredible. The best meal in Rome by far.😊

The best lasagna I have ever eaten in my life

Me costó escribir esta reseña. Por un lado, rara vez escribo críticas - pero este restaurante se destacó para mí - sentí que tenía que darle crédito donde se debe. Pero, en una ciudad tan llena de turistas, no necesito influencers que vengan aquí y arruinen este lugar. Sin embargo, el propietario no podría ser más agradable y la comida no podría ser mejor, así que pensé que una buena crítica sería lo correcto para ellos. El personal era tan amable - Fui con mi hijo de 2 años, y eran tan agradables y serviciales con él. ¡Le encantaba su polpette! Me comí todo el pedido menos la carne - rellena de calabacín que venía con - me comí esos y realmente me encantó. La carbonara era una A +++. Antes de esto, me encantó la carbonara en algunos otros restaurantes romanos y este fue el mejor que tuve - y créeme, conozco mi carbonara. La estrella del espectáculo puede haber sido los ñoquis. Los ñoquis de mi esposa fueron los mejores que he tenido en esta tierra. Este restaurante es de lo que se trata Roma.
