Visited the restaurant yesterday evening. The best our gastronomic experience through traveling the Puglia. Impeccable service, tasty dishes (especially beef tartar Gravina-style and L’Uovo dessert), cozy and relaxing atmosphere… Would definitely come again, if we’re ever in Gravina again. Traditional Gravina food in a charming location

Overall, a very quaint location, with very good appetizers and first courses. It's a shame, however, that the service was incredibly slow and the dessert was a bit off.

The food wasn't bad, but the service was terrible. You were lucky if you could even stop a waiter. The room we were in was practically abandoned, and they almost never came by. It took us two and a half hours to eat an appetizer and a first course. They brought the plates, and you had to ask them for the cutlery, which they forgot. We asked for the appetizers, and once they arrived and we were finished, no one told us, and no one came to ask how we wanted to continue. We had to stop a waiter who was passing by to another table. When the main course arrived for one person, the other had to wait over half an hour for it. The appetizer was meager for two people, including a piece of parmigiana to share, two fried cheese balls, two small cakes, another small cake of a different kind to share, and some seasoned cooked ham, for an excessive price of €40 for the appetizer alone. Disappointed by this experience, I don't know how it got such a high rating.

Excellent food Traditional dishes with a modern twist Charming location

This restaurant is located near the Roman aqueduct/bridge in Gravina in Puglia. The restaurant, housed in a historic building, stands out for its taste, refinement, and elegance. Prices are slightly above average compared to other restaurants in town, but I believe this is justified by the location and setting. It's suitable for a romantic dinner or, why not, even an evening with friends. I particularly appreciated the care with which the dishes were prepared, the excellent wine pairing (the wine list is one of this restaurant's strengths), and the professionalism of the service. Style, taste, and elegance (I repeat) are the restaurant's strong points. What keeps me from giving it a full review is the price, but as mentioned before, quality comes at a price.

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, even for families with children like us. We were impressed by the placemat with activities for little ones. A nice way to welcome and entertain them in a stimulating and creative way.

Vinimos aquí porque el otro lugar estaba reservado para un evento privado y no podría ser mejor que esto sucediera. Nos costó encontrar la entrada porque el navegante señaló el lugar en medio de un puente, vio las señales en un edificio pero no entendía la entrada; se encuentra debajo del puente de la calle y el camino hacia / desde el largo puente de acueducto que conecta ambos lados del pueblo. Hay varios comedores en este restaurante, todos con diferente encanto, pero le recomiendo encarecidamente (si no tiene problemas claustrofóbicos) sentarse en cualquiera de los ubicados en las zonas de cuevas; nos sentamos en la sala Nevaia que disfrutamos, pero si son solo un par, pregunte y reserve Solo por comedor debido que es estrictamente para dos; el Arco dell'oste (solo para 2 también) también es agradable, pero está cerca del corredor ocupado. Teníamos un poco de queso fresco (pallone Gravina 6 , 00 ) ; aperitivos (desayuno del granjero 20 , 00 cada uno) que venían con un poco de jamón cochinillo en rodajas, calabacín frito, queso frito, bolas de pan, crema de judías anchas, pastel de berenjenas (OK, todas las porciones muy pequeñas) ; la pasta de cavatellini con tapas de nabo, palillón (el queso local) y pimientos crujientes (12 , 00 ) estaban muy deliciosos. Los postres estaban bien; el pastel caliente Gariga (5 , 00 ) es solo un pastel de chocolate fundido, muy promedio, lo mismo para el marzatiramisu (6 , 00 ) pero el Uovo che uovo (sorpresa dulce de huevo 7 , 00 ) era uno interesante hecho con chocolate blanco con un toque de naranja. El servicio es excelente, el tipo que nos esperaba estaba muy orientado al cliente y nos ofreció un corto recorrido por las bodegas subterráneas; las áreas públicas son agradables y limpias, pero los baños carecían de inodoro y papel seco a mano... Un lugar estupendo para disfrutar de una comida en un ambiente singular, aunque no tiene las viviendas talladas en roca con vistas al estilo Matera como el que pretendíamos ir, pero este ofrece algo que está al siguiente nivel.

Generosas porciones de excelente comida italiana local, con buen vino local para lavarlo. Definitivamente dejar espacio para los fabulosos desiertos. Muy razonable precio - todo dentro de una cueva en el borde del casco antiguo.
