We went with friends after watching the TV show Foodish...and it confirmed to us that, unfortunately, everything you see on TV is fake and manipulated. La Gricia wasn't bad, but it wasn't exceptional. The restaurant was a bit pricey and definitely not typical Roman. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend it.

My wife and I went in for our last dinner before leaving Rome and we were so pleased. Food was excellent, the atmosphere relaxing and the staff attentive. Will definitely return on our next visit to the city. I suspect need for reservations varies with the time of evening.

The food was delicious! Best steaks we have had in Italy! The service by Aladin was phenomenal. He was so friendly and personable! Making us laugh nonstop! His recommendations were too notch! Definitely recommend everyone coming to this place! YUM

The food and service was truly excellent. I will definitely be back! The artichoke salad was extra delicious, best cacio e Pepe so far in Rome and the grilled fish was absolutely delicious. Thank you Kanto for the great service.

The food was fine. Atmosphere: read what others wrote. Dead on. Many other choices. We should have gone with hotel reccomendations. My husband wanted coffee with dinner. Told that is for dessert only. Asked as we were seated if they could bring us Prosecco. Based on presentation, thought it was complimentary. 3 e per glass on our bill. Made to feel guilty that we did not order more courses. Maitre D hovered over us and made inappropriate comments. It was our first dinner in Italy and just felt weird and unwelcoming. Food was fine, if you can deal with the rest.

The food was really nice and our server Kanto was kind and attentive. The place was quiet, which made it easy to talk and enjoy our meal. The owner was also so friendly and welcoming! Perfect spot for a relaxed dinner and good conversation.

17/01/2026: Absolutely fantastic food here. Traditional Italian food cooked correctly and served in a lovely setting by very attentive staff. Had it for dinner then lunch immediately the next day so I could try a different dish. This place had come highly recommended both online and by a colleague who is a Rome veteran. They are not wrong. The tomatoes in the bruschetta were so red and juicy, compared to what I get delivered in the UK by one of the big supermarket giants. Go here and enjoy a lovely meal at a very reasonable cost.
16/01/2026: Nice place with good local cuisine. Prices are little bit higher.
