We enjoyed our meal and friendly atmosphere. Our waiter was very helpful with ordering and what is customery. Kando is the waiter to ask for. He will make your dinner special. The food is amazing.

What a truly amazing experience on our first day in Rome. We have been to Italy on a few occasions over the years but not Rome. We were on a wee stroll around our neighbourhood and stumbled across 44 Osteria Quarantaquattro........ what an amazing find. From the second we entered, the love, passion, and warmth was something else. Stephen (Stefano) was pretty special and made everything easy, we were then introduced to Chiara, "the owner," who, along with Stephen, guided us through the food and wine. We struggled to find our favourite dish as they were all fantastic. We are both foodies and not bad cooks, but this was on another level. We dined at this Italian restaurant yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The waiter, Kanto, was exceptionally courteous—he patiently introduced the menu and gave great recommendations, making us feel genuinely valued. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable, and the owner kindly stopped by our table for a friendly conversation. On top of that, every dish we tried was incredibly tasty…

Every time I return to Rome, Osteria Quarantaquattro is a must! Exceptional traditional Roman dishes and generous portions! Welcoming atmosphere and kindness from the owners and all the staff. Try the amatriciana..it's superb! I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful setting and relaxing atmosphere. Service was on point. Kanto was an excellent waiter to have along with all the others who attended to us with such diligence. Food was out of this world aswell. Highly recommend.

18/03/2025: Prices are reasonable. When you are too tired, you can sit down to rest and have a drink.

16/03/2025: It's a nice patisserie where you can have your Italian breakfast. Obviously, there are also sandwiches, but also delicious cakes.
