Great experience! Excellent food, wine and staff, Giulio and his cutting boards will amaze you, come and visit them!

Last night for dinner I chose a different place than usual. I had little appetite and in the afternoon, passing by the Ciccus tavern, I also became curious about the characteristic place. The appearance inside is that of a wine shop from times past but at the same time with notes of modernity. The owner, an affable and courteous person, was able to advise me well and so I took a platter of culatello di Norcia, buffalo mozzarella with wild asparagus and olives, soft Sicilian artichoke hearts all accompanied by bruschetta with oil. The advice on wine was also excellent: a glass of "Marzemino" red wine with low alcohol content of which I appreciated the sweetness, the delicate flavor with notes of red fruit and the characteristic of being slightly sparkling. Finally I also had a dessert with custard, chopped almonds, raisins and a very light splash of rum. I found the bill a little high but the quality of the products as well. Overall I also enjoyed tasting good, diversified offerings. Professional and courteous staff. I would add that I also received a bonus for a free Lonzino tasting platter (from Monday to Friday).

When you think of an authentic Italian restaurant this is the place that comes to your mind. An endless amount of wine choices, meats and cheeses that are all to die for. I also want to mention the amazingly hospitable server. 10/10 recommend, we could not have asked for a better experience!

Sono tornato a Brrscia dopo tanto tempo e da CICCUS non potevo mancare ...salumi prosciutto e gnocchi al sugo di Cinta Senese eccezionali ho preso un vino Bianco Siciliano ottimo..La qualita' si sente. !! Consigliato ai buonGustai !
